Domain names
An important part of getting a web site up and running is choosing the right domain name. The domain name chosen should not be too long and should be easy to remember and be easy for users to type into the address bar of their browsers.

You may find that the domain name you would like is not available and is already taken (as is often the case). In this case you will have to think of alternative domain names until you find a domain name that suits your web site and one that is available to register..

Registering a domain name
There are hundreds of companies that offer online domain name registrations. However we strongly recommend that our clients let us register their domain names on their behalf. This will allow us to make sure that our clients remain the registered owner/s of the domain name/s in question and not the ISP the domain was registered with and secondly it will allow us to make any changes to the domain name/s settings as and when required (such as DNS settings etc).

Multiple domain names
It is possible to have multiple domain names that direct users to the same web site. For example you can register www.mywebsite.com, www.mywebsite.co.uk and www.mywebsite.net and have them all pointing to the same web site.
